Designing for web and the screen undergoes a substantial change about every three years – and as we’ve been designing for web sites for over 15 years we know that this is a consistent pattern. Sometimes the changes are visual, sometimes technical, sometimes marketing related, but the result is the same – you have to constantly reinvent your approach to web design. Design for the web site should fit with the brand strategy of the company as well of course, which doesn’t always happen when a web company has been hired in isolation from the rest of the company’s marketing and brand activities.
